This is much worse than coming in to work with a massive hangover
I think the only way we're going to get an offensive spark with our current crop is to utilize Guevara's abilities in the 'hole' to the max. When he was in form with the Metrostars he was banging...
You really think Ibrahim is ready to start games regularly? I haven't been able to see a full match with him in it yet, but word is he drifts after a while. Sad to say, but Cunny may be the best...
Saw this on ESPN Soccernet today, probably nothing, maybe just a case of the writer not understanding the McBride situation or me misinterpreting the phrasing, as it sounds kind of definitive to me....
Nice to hear him and his family are settling in well in TO- knew there was some pre-season family issues, but it sounds like Carl is enjoying his time here, which is only good news for his football.
I'd like to see Tebily playing DM with Robinson, stick with the 4-2-3-1 we play pretty well, with Smith in the Guevara-esque role and whoever is most fit between Danny and Cunny for striker
I'd definitely give Hemming a shout over Harmse...can't do much worse, that's for sure
Amado Guevara, does he still play for us? Beginning to really dislike Honduras
Finally, I can get a wallpaper with that sleeveless, arm sock wearing chick on my computer...yikes BMO doesn't get it, but it sure beats those shite Houston area plugs during last night's game!
I just hate seeing a rather apathetic (compared to BMO) Houston stadium not singing his name after such performances. He would get such a welcome in our colors, in his own city, bringing home a...
Hate him in Orange, but would give up DP money to see him in red. Plus he seems like a class act off the field, with all that charity work for African aid and such.
Great analysis as usual jloome. I guess it takes his absence to really realize it, but I think watching Harmse ghost through the game made me appreciate Edu a lot more. Edu and Carl just seem a lot...
I'm surprised no one has brought this up yet here- most MLS teams suck pretty badly on the road - only NE and Chicago have winning records on the road. So obviously, while there is need for...
Sounds like a preamble to a witch hunt...lighten up and enjoy the full stadium. I would think that surely 'ultras' can't let their gameday experience be thrown off so easily?
Damn DeRo and Ching are amazing up front, just tearing us apart in the back
Wow that goal still has me laughing- absolutely absurd, I think I hate Cunny more for that goal
A (relative) rags to riches story about teen Chivas midfielder Jorge Flores, that also brings up some questions about the serious issues regarding development of football talent pools in the US-...
SBI mentioned this rumour/report- it's clear Altidore will go soon. Villareal via Huelva sounds like a good way for him to develop. I think lower Spanish league is the best route for Jozy's...
I don't know why I bother reading his work either. Perhaps I somehow enjoy the absurd nature of the Canadian Press' relationship with football, that this man is actually paid good money to write...
And basically saved a Premiership team from relegation against all odds, and, based on his form from the past few months, would be one of the best (if not the best) striker in MLS...get past the age...
I know it's very unrealistic, but McBride would be an amazing choice as our DP striker- he's hands down better than all the players we've been linked to this year. Sure he's old, but age is but one...
Seems to me that MLS will do whatever they want to make McBride happy (i.e. making sure he plays for Chicago), even if it includes forcing TFC to give up their allocation for some token...
There's so many details to this allocation business that I don't comprehend, and it seems that MLS kind of makes up rules for this kind of situation as they go along- so this is just a pipe dream,...
^^^I can't see McBride wanting to play here under any circumstances- the only reason he's quitting Fulham is for his family to come back state side, so I think that rules out TFC
Wow, this is going to be fun- nothing like trader rumours- a nice way to finish off the work day!
