I think its a bit of a joke that BMO has a heated pitch but the rest of the stadium hasn't been outfitted for operation in cold months. It's time to make that investment in BMO Field as early season...

I don't favour playing at Rogers Centre unless it was a friendly. Any meaningful game we play should be at BMO Field whether it is summer or winter. We have a heated pitch, so if TFC ever advanced...

I think they had to because the field at Saputo is not heated so it was a block of ice in February

Does the heated field mean that if we reached the CCL Quarters (which are in February) it would be played at BMO Field? Unlike Montreal which had to move indoors to the Big Owe.

you don't want it at BMO because it's too small but you want it played on a canal where there is no stadium???

The have a team for baseball, the AAA Lynx folded in 2007 but they now have a team in the Can-Am Independent league. It's struggling, but it's still there. :canada:

I think you can view it from both sides...yes Ottawa does have both a good and bad redputation for sports...the 67s are now a model OHL franchise and so are the Sens (pains me to say that, Go Leafs)...

Ottawa fans are not all bandwagon jumpers...but most of them are...the city has a much longer list of pro sports problems than just the CFL.
