I don't think this is the case at all.
that's quite a leap.
Dude, stop trying to "Win" the internet.
All I said was the the Grey Cup and Argos started the conversation on a Dome.
You realize you're on one of the biggest soccer websites in Canada?
step...
The Argos got the ball rolling.
The Province did do what it could for the Argos and CFL...Helping them build a stadium...with them primarily in mind.
it was called SkyDome.

thanks for this.
very insightful.
Incredible.
The Argos called me again, same rep that called in the spring.
I was an Argos SSH in 2005.
they called me in 2016 to see if I was interested in Season tix.
then today, despite me...
i don't think anyone would care if they played in Milton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Oshawa...and were called the Toronto Argos.
lots of teams aren't in their proper city.
Ottawa Sens - Kanata...
The Argos do have their "Beckham" player every few years...
Ricky Williams
Doug Flutie
Rocket Ismail
Theismann
They'd benefit if they landed Johnny Football or Tebow. (Although i think the...
I've heard before that it is all about grey cups to keep your team afloat. You are 1 million in the red every year. But you make 10 million when you host the GC. Thus cancelling our 7ish years of red...
we've probably answered the question.
30K tix sold.
28+K thru the turnstile.
it was a nice weekend.
maybe one of the last of 2016.
some people are turned off by the lack of parking during...
I believe the MTL number.
they were selling the Standing room Gen Admission Tix.
why would they do that if there was real inventory?
Between the north patio and going out into the CNE at some...
We were told (Phil or Pint might remember more details) that hybrid is actually really costly to replace.
because of the strands weaved together...it is very difficult to replace say just between...
I agree.
The Grey Cup is a nomadic Mardi Gras/Oktoberfest for many canadians.
they go for the parties, etc.
They set the price too high.
but i think it will eventually sell out. (Groupon?)...
I'd add the Wolfpack in there too.
Lamport holds almost 10K.
I love the Rock.
you can sit lower bowl at the ACC for a reasonable price.
Fans are a little more blue collar. People get after in...
i honestly thought they'd hand out tix in the midway yesterday to have great shots of a full BMO with the rides in the background.
it would make for good marketing stuff for 2017.
I know they...
a lot of tix today for the Esks game on stubhub.
someone earlier pointed out that the Argos crowd is more prone to driving...so the CNE might be a big hurdle for them.
with that said, if they can't...
I sometimes wonder if the Argo decision makers assumed that young people like drinking beers at BMO...just shoe horn any sport in there...the liberty village kids will just show up.
but they're...
there is nothing compelling anyone to open the thread.
Wolfpack Season Tix are cheap.
$270ish for the season.
it would be funny if they got Lamport rocking better than the Argos.
it will be a concern all year long.
how will the turf look after a full CFL season?
what will it look like if/when they paint the turf for the Grey Cup?
etc.
I thought they'd get a good number tonight. Finally a Friday game. Loads of radio ads.

tomorrow will be a test for the turf.
they'll have 2 weeks to get it back to Soccer Quality.
although i think there is another pointy ball game before Aug 27.
will you go to liberty village/BMO without a ticket to see what you can do in terms of Freebies?
Bell won't give up on them for a long time.
the TV content value is too much.
TSN makes good money from the TV commercials.
CFL is one of the most watched things on TV in Canada in the summer...
