No idea. I saw it on his Wikipedia page
Edit: Looks like U Sports selects the teams

Would be good to have a model on the team again...and not a head case one.

Welcome 'El Titan', goodbye memories of 'El Tule'!
Just tuned into the Torino game and Belotti is not in the lineup. The commentator mentioned he will be moved in January with interest from the Milan clubs and his option of joining Insigne in Toronto is a serious consideration.
He caused a pen that created a second yellow situation. Commentator saying he's been less then stellar of late with penalties.
Insigne's passing is...stellar. And he is coming back a lot. Lots of runs.
When he came on, Mertens kept the captain's arm band.
Napoli camped in the penalty area like its a 5 on 3 power play in hockey

Biased Website-Post; the two comments are interesting.
Ciro Immobile to TFC? Just kidding. But he did help get us Insigne.

I agree. Manning has talked about a 5-year strategy leading up to the World Cup which likely means expanding the stadium again. They want trophies, MLS Cups, Champions League games and making this team relevant in the market. I can't imagine Manning said to the board: "We only need Insigne"
I believe we sign another forward to record breaking contract. God willing!
macnaughton to tfc is apparently done

Singh definitely needs the time in the CPL. 175k is the transfer fee allegedly.
Interesting that it went from Lukas being on trial during the pre-season with an eye towards and transfer to it actually happening now, much quicker than it had been suggested. Wonder if Pacific and/or Lukas pushed it not wanting to risk things?
He’s been training with the club for quite a while now. I’m guessing that they’ve already had a good look at him in Toronto
Singh going to Pacific would explain why he's the only first teamer (besides the obvious players who are departing) that I haven't seen in a photo or video posted by the team... And that hair is hard to miss
A good move all around.
Be interesting to see just how much playing time MacNaughton gets. He probably sits pretty firmly as our #4 CB if Salcedo is indeed coming.
Gigi is looking to finish his career outside of Italy. Let’s sign all the Italians. g:D

Queue speculation of Ciro to NYCFC in next couple of years. Other side of 30; although seems to be under contract until 2026.
Another very intriguing connect with Lino Di Cuollo.
Also interesting tell about the house/living idea in NYC.
Could be part of a theme of vaca-escape from the Euro paparazzi to American anonymity among some prominent footballers.
IIRC Ronaldo may have done something similar a few years ago; but before his personal US legal issues.
Story seems to still support my personal bias and sour grapes with Manning regarding the Insigne story.
I think Insigne more like fell into his/our lap, then being initially and specifically targeted; Not the first draft in the 5 Year Plan.
I think Insigne was the surprise meat in an initial Criscito sandwich, a Mertens side order and now Immobile drink... combo.
May explain what feels to me like a roster construction rethink once this next tier centerpiece was landed.
Coincidence or maybe the catalyst for the secondary wave of roster amped up activity and mass exodus situations.

A really good thread looking at our new CB. If you click there’s a number of highlights of his strengths and weaknesses. I think he’ll shape up to be a solid depth piece for us.
Ranjitsingh looks like an astute signing. He's former Sigma, led Louisville to a USL championship then did three MLS tours as a backup. Cheap, Canadian, already considered to have MLS-level ability but looking for a chance to win a starting job.
Bono either fixes his ways or cracks completely. Q is probably seen as a defacto starter at 35 but I'm sure they rather wouldn't. He was showing his age last year (albeit still more useful than Bono).
It's taking a shot at a depth piece. There's an unknown here that Zavaleta doesn't have. We've seen the best of Zavaleta and he will be due a raise and I am sure doesn't want to be a 5th CB here. Maybe this works out after he gets some MLS training and acclimatizes or maybe he goes all late 2021 Luke Singh but it's still worth a shot.
I'm sure TFC will keep their options open until the last minute, but isn't Bono in the final year of his contract? There probably arem't enough positives to a buyout vs letting him play out this season. Rebuilding TFC into a contender is probably going to take until next year anyway.
If the Revs do indeed sell Matt Turner to Arsenal then Bob should be trying to get Bruce to pick up Bono as his replacement.
It seems to me Ranjitsingh is the replacement for Paterson-Sewell with more upside potential.
