Looks great! Amazing work. Only things I would add is:
-you're missing Luca Petrasso (signed HG yesterday) so he'd probably take slot 30

Rumour today that Porto is looking to bring in Eustaquio on loan with an option to buy. Only mentioning because his name was tossed out here when Manning made the comment about Canadian national team players.
Never thought it likely he had Eustaquio in mind, he's making waves in Portugal and is likely on to bigger things. Good for him.

A new suitor for Soteldo???
https://chatnewstoday.ca/2022/01/12/...training-camp/
Pozuelo will be the only DP to join the team for training camp. He posted an Instagram story today that said "Last day". Assuming he leaves Spain shortly.
Crazy that camp starts this weekend. This Insigne stuff has made the time fly by.
It's been mentioned in a thread on the RPB facebook page that he is not a real person, he's a created character from some kid in the states. He's not pseudonym, the kid was really pretending Will Forbes is a real journalist when in fact he's just poaching stories from other media and then guessing what's about to happen.
The whole thread outlines how thoroughly he's been debunked as phony.
Still, be nice if he's right this time.

make of this what you will
There was a report in Italy today that Belotti has turned down all overseas offers (Us, Newcastle and Al Hillal) as he wants to wait out until the summer for an offer from either Milan or Inter.
Between that and the report his wife doesn't want to leave Italy I'm gonna wager he's a no go.
Neil Davidson reporting on the Salcedo rumours now…there’s something to them for sure
Paulo Dybala has said he isn't returning to Juventus. He always struck me as a guy who loves money. Just saying.
Looks like Soteldo to Sao Paulo is breaking down. He has also allegedly been offered to Flamengo.
Its a fact that Jozy and Jefe wont be in camp tomorrow. But also a fact that Bob Bradley said "there’s a lot going on and it’s not easy to say yet how different things will play out.”
Salcedo scored a 93rd minute equalizer today for Tigres against santos laguna.
Flamengo prepping an offer for salcedo apparently.
could be real competition for him.
That is extremely little, very bad for the general advancement of MLS.
Just think how huge was the inflation in the last year, and this year will be the same.
To have any kind of positive impact on the quality of the league, IMHO that spend on the roster should be going up with at least about 1 million.
But anyways, this was a digression from the main subject of this thread.
The fact that they are not even inviting them to camp at all is pretty telling. Soteldo they could make the excuse that he can go off and join his national team for WCQ's a bit early. Not inviting Jozy while he is technically under contract is basically what Chris Armas did to him last year.
Teams in Brazil really don’t buy players.
I will bet anyone that Solteldo is just going out on loan. Or he stays.
If we are “competing” against Flamengo for Salcedo, that doesn’t exactly worry me.
Totally. But if Jozy is going to play anywhere he needs a training camp. The exclusion by Armas was a real set back for him physically - he was way off the pace when he came back, even though he still had his touch in the box. For him to move somewhere, they need to know he can play.
Flamengo and Palmeiras were pissing money about pre-COVID. Pre-COVID a $5-6M would be easy for them.
Pretty sure as long as he goes on loan, he comes off the DP as long as the other team pays enough of his salary. We did it once before when we had 4 DPs. Loaned Gilberto to Brazil, he came off the cap and wasn't a DP charge. Then when he returned from loan we had to give him to Chicago for free
Re.: Salcedo...
According to these posts and sites, not sure if they are credible or related, TFC is not even mentioned and not in the running for the player as of a few days ago.

Wouldn't this also be something similar to what Miami had to do before the start of last season by loaning Pelligrini to Ft. Lauderdale to become compliant..it might have counted as their buyout too though

He hasn't been in shape or on pace for a few years and that's not changing. He isn't going to move anywhere either because nobody will buy, trade, or swap for him as he is broken down and not worth what we've given him over the past 3 seasons. His only hope to play anywhere is to take a 1 year "show me" contract somewhere need of a forward.
Also, it's not only than he out of game shape and sharpness, he is legit out of shape and that's why he is frequently injured. He Tweeted his wife working out in their fancy home gym in 2020 and it shouldn't be ignored that he came out of that lockdown in terrible shape. He should be kept away from the team as he has shown nothing but unprofessionalism for a couple of years, something BB addressed earlier after becoming our manager, and we don't need any of that around what should be a fresh start.
Michael Singh reporting now Soteldo is gone and TFC is acquiring Salcedo from Tigres and those two moves may be related. That would be pretty interesting.
Singh saying a lot of things

Very huge if true.

Here's one that mentions TFC from yesterday. A few Toronto sources have also mentioned Salcedo, but not sure how much that is related to whatever Will Forbes said or if it's anything original.

Swapping Soteldo for Salcedo would be tidy business. Really hope this is for real.
