Danny Dichio join Sacramento Republic (USLC) as Assistant Coach
Endoh announced his departure from TFC today. He said he just got his residency card at the end of 2021, so he would've been a domestic this season had he returned
I always loved Endoh's story, his pluck.Does he deserve an appreciation thread? Maybe, because of his great attitude. Always loved the way he fought his way back into the picture.
For a brief moment there, in 2019, he really looked like a player…
He started 2019 MLS Cup.
Hope he lands on his feet.
Remember this one? Probably TFC's fastest goal ever

Really hard to know what to think. On the one hand, he started against Mexico two months ago. On the other, once he isn’t getting regular minutes, his performance will likely degrade fast, at his age. This must be a big discussion topic inside the room for Herdman, too.
Sebastian Giovinco is on the #TFCLive camp roster and will be training with the Reds in Southern California No word on any new deal #MLS

What a way to start the day!
He was partying at home for his b-day last night. Hope he doesnt have too much of a hangover for his flight
No mark next to Giovinco's name = he's on the roster!

They just added an asterisk next to Gio's name that says "invited to train" seperate from "Trialist"
Whats that?
Ensco my partner in crime... boom... Mic Drop! Old school B Boys back to back pose.
Hopefully a Vazquez deal and not just fitness and try-out.
TFC leverage... likely considered options, settling for a token contract?
Couldn't resist playing/living here with Family, being on the pitch with friend and J-PV teammate Criscito and, of course, Insigne et al.
Getting the band back together... interesting and fun times.
Maybe... Poz and striker backup... Left Winger... interim gap filler... marketing bonus?
BB's Freudian slip!
They actually took down the tweet announcing the roster. There seems to be a few other errors in the list. The number of first team players don't add up with what was originally there, and there were a few players with spaces after their names which makes me think they meant to add a symbol next to a few (e.g., Kobe Franklin, Dante Campbell)

New roster list out, however they don't have a legend this time... Either way Gio is the only one with three asterisks next to his name.
Interesting list. Obviously Seba is the headline. But also some interesting trialists Kadin Chung (Pacific), Damia Vaider (USL League One Defender of the Year), Wilson Harris (Sport. KC II). Ralph Priso's younger bro Hugo in the main camp..
With Endoh gone Seba makes sense if he accepts that sort of role.
I really like having Chung in camp. He has been one of the better RB/LBs in the CPL the past few years. Would be a good depth option and Canadian to boot.
Is this what having a domestic strategy looks like, Mr. Bob?!?
It's going to be tough to win any games with this team! Hopefully Akinola and Achara are back in form this year...
Bob seems to have a lot of faith in the youth in order to get goals, other than Giovinco im not seeing any proven striker, not saying the selection is poor just somewhat shocked we arent going for more of a proven striker
Endoh I always felt was a decent depth player, who could fill in in a few different spots. Nothing spectacular, but decent enough, with some moments of brilliance. Seemed like a good overall teammate, was always one of the first to run to a player to celebrate, worked his way back into the first team after getting cut in 2017 and signing with TFCII. My main concern was using a valuable international spot on a 20th man on the depth chart and wanted the team to move on to free up that international spot. The fact he would no longer require one getting the residency means I would be fine with him staying. However, it's probably good for him to move on. I think he deserves a shot where he can get move consistent play time. Maybe head to USL-C, spend a couple years as a starter, and then see if you can crack the MLS again.
Edit: Just realized he's 28. I thought he was about 25/26. Heading to USLC now and then a return to MLS at 30-31 probably isn't as realistic
Ya this is a full on rebuild. I don't expect this roster to be close to complete until the start of 2023 season.
We'll be able to field a lineup that can play Bob's system to start 2022 - and the kids will need to prove themselves. Maybe sneak into the playoffs off the backs of a couple players.
But I don't see that system winning silverware (other than Canadian Championship) until next season.
Here's the list so we don't have to keep clicking the link

Did i miss something... whats up with Kemar Lawrence and Jonathan Osorio??
Why not look at Mohamed Farsi on trial if we’re checking out fullbacks? Certainly he has to be the best one in the CPL.
His agent was selling multiple club interest and that he won’t be returning to Calvary, but yet to see any news of him landing somewhere.
Edit: never mind, he signed with Columbus’s second team. Wtf?
He's going to Crew 2 https://calgarysun.com/sports/soccer...ith-mls-crew-2
