Get his agent to start calling clubs in the middle east
I honestly think we haven't pulled the trigger on Jozy for exactly this reason.... We're going to wind up using our buyout on Jefe and use Jozy as a #1 striker for the first half of the season. With luck, Jozy will then agree to retire just before Insigne arrives (as with Danny D).
Yeah, but you can buy him out next year. This year Jozy, next year Jefe.
Yeah best case scenario is a transfer, hopefully not too bad a loss. There seems to at least be a market for him which there isn't for Jozy. Seems likely something gets done.
TFC sign homegrown player Luca Petrasso

This is pretty much exactly how it played with Gilberto. We never recovered the transfer fee for Gilberto btw. He just went on waivers to Chicago, after spending a year on loan in Brazil.
I think we are looking at a big loss. I bet we would recover very little of that transfer fee. But it'll just get worse over time, like you say, and hey, so what, not my money....
Petrasso homegrown deal today, Franklin's will likely be announced tomorrow.
They did this in 2020, one per day, they signed Rocco Romeo one day, the next day they announced Jayden Nelson, and the day after they announced Jahkeele MarshllRutty
I think if we lose money on the Solteldo transfer fee or even paying more money out of MLSEs pocket which it free up a DP spot for another striker signing with the quality of Belotti its worth every penny.
I also think that interview Bill had a TSN and his comments about players on the Canada national team. To me after that interview its not just Borjan coming but even another one or two players from the national team. Eustaquio ? Adekugbe ?
went to transfermarkt on both Italian and US servers - is there a reason why Belotti is 23% in the US but Italy has the rumour at 40%? Is there just better news out there?
So, did I miss anything in the last 24 hours? I'm excited to see who we get with that number 3 pick in the draft today!!
Maybe we can select Dom Dwyer at number 3!
I see Robert Beric is still interested in playing in MLS. He stats weren't pretty last year as a DP, but if he is willing to take 500-600k on a short term prove it deal we could really use someone upfront with Ayo out until June/July, Jozy likely gone and potentially Destro/Belotti/whoever not arriving until July.
What's Chad Barrett up to? I'm worried about who's gonna be upfront.
I cant remember who we were playing but I remember jokingly saying in our row in 112 don't worry... Chad will get a hat trick. He scored 2! Oh how we laughed it almost happened.
We have our 2nd Round (31st overall) and 3rd Round (59th overall) picks.
So basically,
TFC has no draft picks, while TFC2 has two draft picks.
For comparison with our slots from last year, when we had 4 picks
1st rounder (25th) Matt DiRosa - signed in USL
2nd rounder (45th) Nathaniel Crofts- signed in the English 6th tier
3rd rounder - (64th) Paul Rothrock - TFC2
3rd rounder - (72th) Talen Maples - TFC2
Nice one. Outside of Bob trading up for someone, doesn't like look much of an interest this afternoon.
Fc Dallas drafts Isaiah Parker (Generation Adidas) 3rd overall.
He will be forever linked to Ali Curtis and Dom Dwyer when I check his stats.

Top 5
1)Charlotte - Ben Bender (GA) MF
2) Cincinnati - Roman Celentino (GA) GK
3) Dallas - Isaiah Parker (GA) FW
4) Houston - Thorleifur Ulfarsson (GA) FW
5) Austin - Kipp Keller (GA) - CB
How do I watch Nottingham Forest in Canada?
Kip Keller who seemed a consensus 1st overall pick (CB) slipped to 5th. Was hoping TFC might pull a coup at #3 and seems that would have been possible.
ben bender and roman celentano...top five picks have all been generation adidas which doesnt happen much...canadian mohamed omar from notre dame could go soon

I just want to say that Will Forbes (if that is his real name) has been more right then wrong this winter regarding TFC. :hide:
