The last 3 picks have all been off the board or outside of the projected first round. Are the individual club's scouting departments that good that they find unearthed diamonds or is MLS scouting so bad they're missing players?

Aparently, they liked this guy so much, Vanney pre recorded some video about him last night.
It seems as though the kids played for Seattle as one time or another before he went off to school.
(Ala Jay Chapman).
Maybe there was something Bez saw while he was with the Sounders Academy or at school.
A quick search says he played PDL while at university and was in the team of the week several times, so they might think Simonin is ready to contribute right away; he's also left-footed, which is hard to find for center backs.
So fucking TFC un fucken believable always making crazy decisions that has got this club nowhere in since 2007, I hope I'm wrong but after 8 years of crap I have no faith in these kind of off the wall picks.
OK...so we could have picked this Clement Simonin in the third round. He wasn't even at the combine. What's the story here?
