Kljestan to Orlando confirmed. I think he's an upgrade from Kaka.
Orlando have a young DP playmaker on the way from Paraguay too

LAFC are beginning to look like a scary team. They might make the playoffs in their first year like ATL did
Justin Meram and Ola Kamara have both apparently asked to be moved
Larin signs with Besiktas.
Larin is the one guy I would like from the MLS. But not surprised he is going overseas.
Not that we need him. But down the road, he could be our future 9 DP.

Diamanti to MLS?

Imbrahimovic to mls?
Dzemaili wants to go back to Europe. Montreal's team is starting to crumble as they've already lost Ciman, Bernier, Camara and Oyongo...
I just really wish these guys would start coming over younger now, like Seba did. It still makes the league looks bad when a mid-30s guy comes for a year or two then retire.
But he'd be a great signing for LAFC, or something. Get the hype going even more there.
Javier Hernandez linked with LAFC. I could see them or an mls team going for him, it hasn't worked out for him in pl with West Ham and he's still be a big draw within the Mexican fan base. He's only 29 so still a few more good yrs left in him.
LAFC are spending a lot of their cap space and barely have 1/2 a team yet.
Once again it seems AU has much broader vision about what they want to do than some other MLS teams. Some of the teams with their heads stuck in 2001 are falling behind and are going to become antiques.
I totally missed Doneil signing for the Whitecaps. could form a monster CB pairing with Waston if both of them can keep their shit together and stay on the field.
Barco to ATL scares me but also gives me a bit of hope on the backend. If they have enough cap space to do what they're doing than we definitely must have cap room to use.
Aaaaaaaannnnnnddddddd........ Tabla has left MTL.
God, they're going to be a heaping pile of shit this year.
Where's he going?
^Wasn't he supposed to be going to Lille?
Could be. I stopped paying attention to the rumors when it became clear he and his agent were very comfortable spending the entire year gaslighting in the press about his departure.
Lille sounds more likely. the two I mentioned sound ripe for his particular brand of self-aggrandizing. I'd 100% not be surprised if it was him and his agent who were touting him to all these big European clubs while in fact it's much more likely he ends up at a sort of European mid-major type , like Lille, instead.
Garde and the Impact FO seem to not understand they're losing tons of assets for nothing by just seemingly releasing all these guys for free.

MLS has the youngest average age of all North American professional sports, and comparable to all major soccer leagues.

^Have fun!
Orlando say they have no transfer deal on Larin. They are suing to stop it.
Looks like the Tic tac will be get another TFC academy player.
From Totera:
Sources confirm to me seconds ago that Canadian Micheal Petrasso on the verge of coming to MLS with possible target destination👉Montreal
Larin suing MLS over contract issue. Idiot
Not sure how he's an Idiot. Castillo and Camilo did the same thing without repercussion. I'm not sure how this is different. Orlando are just fighting this to save face about the fact they could have gotten anywhere up to a rumored 10 million euros for him a year ago, only to now inevitably giving him away for free.
Caps ended up getting a 'couple of million' in transfer fee for Camilo. Castillo was under contract ('legit' one) when he tried to force a move to Turkey mid season. Dallas ended up getting like 4 mil in transfer fee anyways. In either case, I'd be very surprised if both of them end up playing again in MLS, though I hear Castillo might come back after his Turkey stint turned up bad.
Larin signed a contract knowing the clauses. FIFA has ruled mostly in favour of the player in case of unilateral contract options, but not in all cases. And in MLS's eyes, US labour law trumps FIFA and should be interesting if FIFA is willing to go to war with USSF and MLS over Larin.
Not sure who lawyered up first but Orlando was moving on regardless. Neither side really wants this to go to court. This will get settled, a fee will get paid.
My questions are:
Will Larin get better over there?
Will Larin play better for the NT because of this?
the fee for Camilo was undisclosed. The Whitecaps can sooth their fans worries by telling them they got millions out of it but if they did there would be no reason not to disclose the fee.
Castillo may have been technically different but it was the same in practice. The Club didn't sell him when he wanted to, forcing Castillo's hand and pushing him to go to Europe on his own and take matters into his own hands. Dallas didn't want to turn over his player card, dragging the whole thing out until finally they got a very reduced price for him. The player and his intended club have all the leverage in these situations. They can refuse to play for you, and you can withhold their playing card in return until as long as you want but all it does is reduce their value and leaves your team worse for wear.
This is 100% about saving face for Orlando and the league. These transfer rule changes can't come soon enough. Will make instances such as these a much less common occurrence in this league.
