I'd love to see 2 dps but I'd rather one of them was a midfield distributor. Somebody to properly play where santos is playing now.
That would give us depth at CF with santos and Gordon.
That would be my preference.

LOL, Asif refers to LA as the defending MLS Cup champions.
Even if he stated "former" champions, it would still be a stretch considering that LA hasn't won since 2005.

whoa.. Asif must be smokin something...even considering them defending champs from 2005 is a stretch...how many of those players are even on this Galaxative team? 1? Donovan?
must be a way to boost some ticket sales for the weekday match...I am sure everyone will assume that golden balls will not play, as he has done in the past at BMO...

Might he be referring to League Champion (Supporters Shield) vs the MLS Cup Champion? Not to open that can of worms again...
-
^ This is what I was thinking as well...

Devos article is writing just to have something to read. It's pointless material.
3-0 Galaxy. They really show how exposed we are at the back. Considering they are a defensive team, we don't get anything on them.

your probably right, although i'd probably word it a little different. i did not read it like that at all, but it sure sounded fancy :D

We won't get shut out against them. There new formation lately is far from defensive....
Beckham is there deep lying centre midfielder with Juniho the attacking. If anything Santos should be able to find tons of space between the Galaxy midfield and the Galaxy back line.

We'll just have to wait until he mentions Colorado and how he addresses them. Then we'll have him!!! May 22nd is the game... Let's stay vigilant, we need to keep Asif in line!!! :smash:

"Defending league champion Los Angeles"
I love it. First time I've seen that in print. SS = the league. Good on Asif.

Well-written and reasonably inciteful. What? Becuase things are evident to you, they are to everybody?

DF – Danleigh Borman (Toronto FC): Aron Winter wants players who are adept at attacking and defending and Borman showed on Saturday in San Jose that he can do both effectively.
