seriously? best player in MLS history after 10 games?
He is the best player in the league at the moment. His history has yet to be made. 10 matches aren't quite a history :)
I'm looking forward to his highlight reels for the next few seasons, then we can start talking about history.
He certainly has had a great start, but that conversation is bet yet saved for a few seasons down the road. But no doubt he is dam exciting to watch at this moment, certainly one of the best active players in the league.
Giovinco is ok, but has everyone forgotten Welsh????
I'd say he's very likely the most skilled player to have ever played in the league. However, he needs to put his stamp on more than 10 games to truly earn the title. A few titles would help, too.
Think we're all overlooking the true legend.....

As for Seba and best in MLS history, it's damn early to say that but I will say I don't think the league has ever had a better, more skilled player in their prime. If he plays like this for the duration of his contract, then it's a conversation to be had.
He's certainly in with a shout for best TFC player of all time if he continues this run.
He's awesome, but let's revisit this thread in a couple of years before we come to such conclusions.
He's the Lionel Messi of MLS, and he's ours.
He's average.
I'm looking forward to the 20 goal montage at the end of the season.
This thread is lacking his assists as well! Those are just as crucial as the goals!
looks like Seba's boy Pirlo joining him in MLS with NYC...come here pirlo lol
We may as well put his jersey up on the wall of fame now.
Should do a thread for each individual TFC player that has ever scored a goal.
Next thread should be the best DP signing in TFC history.....MISTA! :)
he does have some deadly touch on the majority of his passes.
If he stays healthy, happy, and for his whole deal then he'll be kicking at Donovan's doorstep for that title.
He is incredible. It is a joy to watch him play and it is nice to be excited to go to matches again because you know he'll put on a show. Hopefully he doesn't leave next season for a swap with Verona.
I've had seasons since day one and not seen the likes of this. He appears to be a true "Jack be nimble" and he just runs about jumping over candlesticks. Kick start Jozy on a 7 game road trip? Sure. Do it by yourself? Sure. Im in 225 i've started shouting "you know you cant stop him" at the oppo right back.
He has to stay motivated though its a small sample size. If he was just De-motivated in Juve this guy may well be far too good for us. Nice.
Everyone is clearly overlooking the defensive prowess of Adam Braz.
But my god we are lucky. With a bit of momentum we might even get back some of the thousands who gave up on TFc after a years of ineptitude.
MLS staff considers Giovinco #2 in the league currently. That's pretty far from #1 of all-time.

However, he could someday get there.
Would be epic if they could get Pirlo to play with him, but wont happen :(
