Randy Red horns needs a liver donor
Many of us know Randy.
Many of you know of or have met Randy Red Horns, the Viking horned, full-time supporter of the mighty Toronto FC. Unfortunately, Randy is back in the hospital and it’s quite serious. Randy is currently searching for a donor for a very urgent Liver transplant. This is complicated by the fact that Randy is type O Blood, which means that while she is a universal donor, she can only receive a transplant from another Type O.
If Randy does not receive a transplant she will die.
Randy is being treated at Toronto General which are the leaders in transplants and have never lost a donor. Donating part of a liver is actually fairly low risk compared to receiving the liver, and there are currently quite few people just waiting to donate a portion of their liver but again, being Type O Blood will make it harder unless Randy can track down a match herself.
