Interesting, looks like JDG has found his next footy role after his departure from Ottawa with the Fury's demise earlier this year, with the prospective new League 1 Ontario team in Barrie.

Giovinco's team Al Hilal got booted out of the Asian CL after most of the team came down with COVID-19. Apparently Giovinco was one of them.

This is a different CSL than the rogue league. It's completely sanctioned by the Ontario Soccer Association.
The youth CSL is called the Central Soccer League and runs up to U18. www.cslsoccer.com I played in this league when I was in youth soccer. It's the competitive rep youth league for the GTA region (from Toronto in the west to about Peterborough in the east up to about Muskoka in the north). There are leagues for different regions in Ontario (SRSL - south, ERSL - east, WRSL-west).
Completely different from the Canadian Soccer League.
good story about ex TFC loanee John Bostock and unfulfilled potential, he's only 28, I would have thought older:

Jordan Hamilton signed with Indy 11 of USL Championship after seeing very little action with the Crew following the trade from the Reds. The Toronto native made 6 appearances for the Crew over parts of two seasons for a total of 69 minutes of action.

Former Red Nick Soolsma, he of the excellent crosses but the not-so-excellent partying, now coaching in B.C.

Ryan Telfer started and played 62 minutes for Trinidad last night against Bahamas in WC qualifying. Could be his last call for Trinidad, as the link below describes, this was the “Nassau nightmare” - they bizarrely couldn’t win, so Trinidad went out, and St Kitts is the shock winner of that group.
Our USMNT players will be silently glad to see T&T gone.

So underrated it's criminal. Smart player, hardly ever sets a foot wrong.
We've had a few guys over the years who didn't meet their potential because it just wasn't recognized. Sam Cronin was such a good passer; my lord. That guy could drop a ball on a dime from sixty yards, but everyone used him as a DM instead of a number eight or in the hole. Just wasted. Ended out shortening his career, too.

^ That's cool. Thanks!
He only played 1 game for TFC on loan in 2007, but that makes him a Red :scarf:.
I actually remember him playing for the Lynx.
