Not happy to have called it right.
Yes but it's not like Kantari is a make or break player. Just as dodgy as the rest of our back line. That's what I meant.
Actually I think we were better when we had Zavaleta in. The experienced CBs we brought in are providing the experience of disappointment more than anything else in my eyes.
The Colorado Rapids are the tonic this bunch needs right now, this fixture couldn't be more timely. Onwards and upwards TFC.
Well, I'm feeling confident I can spend my playoffs ticket money. I've been optimistic all year but the last few games just bring back memories of every year before this one.
Hard to defend this to "outsiders".
Disheartening this.....
Dom
Let's go Blue Jays!
:/
If there weren't 6 teams making the playoffs this year I'd be seriously worried. As it is we still have enough time to go on a run and build some momentum for the postseason. But man, this team inspires zero confidence.
Colorado has 6 more points than NYC had and in a much more difficult division. We are deteriorating rapidly - seriously lacking in morale, character and leadership. I don't see what there is to be optimistic about we have not shown any signs of improving as a team through the season. We don't even do very well at home.
It's too bad 6 teams are making it in. We'll get in, TFC brass will be looking at all the positives and gloating about making the playoffs - then up goes the ticket prices.
Lets say for a minute TFC makes the playoffs as the 6th or 5 th ranked side. They will play one game on the road, and likely lose. Then what? After all these years, are we supposed to celebrate such mediocrity? Will MLSE erect a statue in front of BMO, then raise prices through the roof? This is very sad. I really want to like this team, but they stink. Last road victory was June. Fuc**ing JUNE!
Vanney got this one all wrong.
He wanted to get both the DM's in. Damned if I know why cause they had no clue how to work together both being rusty and playing in that barn box got in each others way. And their lack of urgency on the first goal was just criminal.
Its like Vanney has no idea how to fix the team defence so he's throwing out combinations hoping it works.
Giovinco needs support up front. He can't play on his own. And Altidore as RM?!?!?!?!
That was a game screaming for a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3 using width. Instead we go back to a 4-2-3-1 and clog up the midfield with an inverted LM and Altidore as RM, playing EXACTLY what NYCFC wants.
And, is Morgan injured? Cause there is no way we should have had Delgado at RB.
Ugly Ugly Ugly.
Can TFC stop it with these Wednesday games?! Wednesday sucks enough as is.
Yeah I'm curious about Morgan, someone want to hit up one of the beat guys and ask?
Morgan with a groin injury according to Molinaro.
This team is fine guys. We're still in playoff position.
