anyone been on their account manager site, seems like they've updated it and I cant see any tickets yet for the champs league game. Does anyone see them in their account?
Before the site was updated the games were at least listed and through the Member twitter account I asked when the tickets would be available - they said around the 10th of February.
If they updated the site itself that would explain why they aren't there yet (usually when anything with ticketmaster is updated, it takes 2-3 days before every aspect is available again)
So TFC kick off against the Galaxy in 45 mins. Not a peep out of the TFC twitter account.
The Galaxy line up for those interested....

he looked like a 17 year old some good and some bad, same for mohammed
This question is a little off topic. But why did Ciman leave Los Angeles FC? Seemed like a great organization great support and plus weather is beautiful
Family couldn't get what they needed in LA. Went back to Europe to get settled. Discovered an option to get back to where they always felt best - living in Montreal.
There was an excellent article this weekend in the Athletic where they followed a player on the day of his trade - brought up time and again was the imporatance of dealing with families for trades. If you ignore the family, the trade can go bad really quickly. It looks like LAFC thought they could keep Ciman happy, but didn't succeed. It remains to be seen if Ciman will be happy with the commute situation but a lot of NA sports players keep their family in 1 place and work/play in another city within a 2 hour flight.
TL/DR - he never wanted to be in LA
FC Dallas did a funny video showing some awful kits to the players for their reaction.

For those who subscribe to the Athletic, good read about the MLS love for LA.

MLS Commissioner Don Garber signs a new five year deal.
http://www.espn.com/soccer/major-lea...s-commissioner
I'm glad, while any commissioner represents the owners first and foremost, he's managed to dribble through a period of change and rapid growth to benefit all of us. His brainchild Soccer United Marketing has proven a source of stable funding for the league. The network deals he's signed have brought in a lot of money, most of which has been used to improve the product.
Can't complain about what he's done for the league, but he is starting to get up there in years and I'm concerned what happens if his cancer comes back. But honestly, what he has done for the league is quite extraordinary. I can't think of a commissioner in any other NA league that has had as much of an effect on the game and it's public perception. Sure he's made some goofs, but overall I don't think MLS could have had a better commissioner for them than Garber has been.
Apparently Nani is signing with Orlando.
Can we just say now that Orlando is MLS 2.0's (3.0?) TFC?
Freddy Montero also leaving Sporting, going to Vancouver
San Jose fascinates me. Almeyda is a huge get. Fabulous stadium in an incredible spot, an opportunity to be Silicon Valley's team (sorry Sharks fans, there are limits to where hockey can go here)
And yet they remain pretty much the cheapest team in MLS. No signings of note at all after a horrendous season

So there was an article in the Atlantic where they interviewed Parkhurst of Atlanta FC - some interesting things.
Of note:
- we were in for him & he almost didn't stay there
- De Boer's coaches are hungry for success
- They are moving away from the high pressing - their FB's will tuck in more
- They are attempting a culture change from Spanish language with English translation to English language first
- also attempting a culture change from a laissez faire Argentinian approach to a German "show up on time"
I think it will take a few weeks for Atlanta to figure this all out. We play them at their stadium on May 8th. IF we are locked into our approach by then & they are too, that's going to be fun match.
Ciman liked a tweet by Audi Downtown. Which suggests the possible make of his next vehicle.
