Osorio was very effective. As other have also mentioned, his work outsmarting Teibert made the first goal possible. One big thing I've noticed is that his improved fitness has really helped him. I think he's also picked up a few pounds of muscle. Last season he was constantly pushed off the ball. In this game he was able to stand his ground.
I think we should take it easy on Caldwell for this game, he was OK in the second half. Let's reserve judgement until we see how he makes out on grass. If he and Perquis can't figure out a way to communicate quickly it'll be a problem.
As for DeVos. Holy shit. He was all over Vanney in the first half, talking about how the high line isn't working over, and over, and over. In the second half he didn't give Vanney any praise for adjusting at all, just that the Van players must have run out of gas. If you're going to criticize, maybe also consider giving credit where credit is due DeVos.
