VAR? The change from when it was first implemented and how it relates to TFC

So I noticed when VAR was implemented it was used to reverse a lot of incorrect calls now it seems like they only reverse really obvious calls and keep the Refs original call on the field. In regards to TFC I get that we can blame injuries for obviously missing the playoffs when it happens I wonder though how many points VAR has costed us this year. I was at the TFC game vs the Sounders where they ruled the player onside and didn't challenge it or go to review. Countless calls have gone against us.. Who has a list or memory of the VAR calls that have gone against us. I also notice Red Cards for our opponents don't get called slide tackles from behind only get yellows. So what is going on with VAR?
