I know this should be a win, but at this point I take nothing for granted.
MLS teams that lose this early in cups tend to be either not trying & putting out only kids or have crappy attacks.
We are putting out kids because we have no choice & have problems creating chances.
At least we go in not overconfident.
They have to go all out at HFX lineup wise and worry about Saturday after. Can’t let Saturday have any consideration in the roster makeup for Wednesday. Now if they do need a short term signing or two Rothrock and Yeates can be signed as cup matches are different than leagues matches when it comes to these type of contracts.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a 4-2-3-1 something like this:
Ayo
Nelson - Oso - Kerr
Bradley - Priso
Petrasso (Shaff if fit) - ONeill - McNaughton - Kosi
Westberg
lots of Canadians, and a bit of rotation ie Salcedo and Jesus
For Now, for Calcio Nostro, pour tous nous 'Les Enfants Terribles'...
As Shoresy might say... "If you can't win, don't play"... Kids, it's time to 'Feel Blessed'... some Dolo... song of a summer...
Fya sounds from the 514...

Yutes' Come On!
It was unbelievably hot in DC (35/6 degrees), and some of the players (Kosi, Petrasso for example) looked half dead leaving the stadium. Jesus looked fine. Ralph too, which is good news.
I agree BB will play full strength, unless someone is really suffering from Saturday.
No problem to field enough Canadians!! :canada:
Pretty much got to play our starters. We barely have a bench. This would be a good game to give Bradley atleast a partial break. Let Kerr and Priso show what they can do. Also, Q deserves to play the cup games. He has been a good soldier and could really use some game time.
The Reds landed in Halifax just over an hour ago.
It has to be Westberg in goal right?
I can't see Ayo getting the start since he is working his way back from injury which is fine cause summer of Perruzza
Westberg in goal & Bradley sitting for Priso would be my preference but I suspect neither will happen.
The good thing is Chicago is just about as slow as our team.
Adam Pearlman has been signed to short term deal for tonight, so someone is out?
With the way the team is trending in the last few games, i expect a chippy game, but for TFC to win handily tonight. Anything less than that is not going to feel like progress.
If Bono starts the no clean sheets match tally will climb by one more.
Is this only on OneSoccer?
I watched the DC game on replay on DAZN. Had the DC commentators. Fairly interesting to hear a different perspective on TFC
Q starts. Bradley will play every minute this year, I am assuming.

I was an Achara and a year of the Peruzza away from nailing it …
Shaff on the bench to make his family feel better - doubt he sees time.
