View Full Version : 2 Games against NYRB today - Make or Break for the trialists ?

anto7

Carver said last night that they would be playing 2 games against NY today, both games would be two 25 minute halves with the purpose being that all of the 22 players would see a full 50 minutes of action. Sounds like this could be a make or break game for some of the boys particularly the trialists. Carver did say some good things about McGlinchey and that he was looking forward to watching him again today.
I think some important decisions could be made upon the completion of today's proceedings.
Very exciting !

Looking forward to it! And according to the Footy Blog people (on yesterday's podcast) they expect more trialists to come. They didn't give an exact number but it sounded like 2-4 people.

Not sure if this is posted elsewhere, but I read on a Red Bulls site that the pre-season match with TFC is today at 3pm.

Can anyone confirm that?

um...why do we still have 11 on the pitch?

Because it's just a tester game, and not really a game at that, there's also likely unlimited substitutions, and it's only a 50 minute game with 25 minute halves. I'm sure there are some other rule variations that we aren't aware of.

The Red Bulls probably agreed to keeping 11 on 11. It's a preseason game, so I'm sure their coach would rather see his players against 11 men to evaluate them.

PERIOD:

Menstruation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
See also "Mensuration", a term sometimes used to describe Measurement, particularly in the context of forestry.

Menstrual cycle.
Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining (endometrium). It occurs on a regular basis in reproductive-age females of certain mammal species. Overt menstruation (where there is bleeding from the vagina) is found primarily in humans and close evolutionary relatives such as chimpanzees.[1] The females of other placental mammal species have estrous cycles, in which the endometrium is reabsorbed by the animal (covert menstruation) at the end of its reproductive cycle. Many zoologists regard this as different from a "true" menstrual cycle.
