Senior and Junior teams continue preseason

Toronto FC Academy's Senior and Junior teams were both in action over the weekend. The Senior Academy team beat the University of Toronto 3-1 and the Junior Academy lost 3-0 to the Ontario Soccer Association.

McNicoll, Cyprus, Lao and Samain in Canada camp

Four members of TFC Academy's Senior Team are currently away at a training camp with Canada Under-17s in Tampa. Goalkeeper Garrett Cyprus, defender Feras Samain and midfielders Jonathan Lao and Brennan McNicoll are all taking part in the camp which is part of preparations for the CONCACAF Men's U-17 Championship in Mexico this coming April.

The juniors are Under 16, I believe. Either way, these guys are producing -- and I'm including the end of last season -- phenomenal results, considering the "boys against men" factor. I remember playing as a 14 year old against 19 year olds from Crescent and damn, it was tough. So to keep beating university and CSL teams comprehensively bodes well for the future.

well they weren't really beating CSL teams as they finished very poorly but I get where you're coming from
