AFTER a very hectic week where I had to get everything organised and packed, I travelled back to Toronto on Saturday evening as pre-season was starting on Monday.

maybe he sold before the real estate crash.. smart guy.

in 6-8 weeks when his family comes back he can find a home for much cheaper.

Also gives the wife something to do while he is at work...

buying furniture, choosing paint colours,... you know spending all his money, etc..etc..

People sometimes rent houses. Especially if they have a permanent home in another country, and if they're on a short term contract.

Most of these guys rent houses. When you think about it, owning makes little sense, given the job insecurity.

with his paycheque he could probably rent a huge house and still have many thousands left over.
