even though we are up 2-1...we are lucky as hell. DC should be smacking us right now and we are playing the worst football I have seen since the last time we were in RFK.

I hope we pick it up in teh second half or I could see a 3-2 0r 4-2 loss. Our midfield is not existent, Edu is playing way to forward and Ricketts is absolute crap, he looked gased 20 minutes into the half.

I thought Ricketts was supposed to have a lot of pace? I've yet to see it...and I don't understand why Edu is playing so far up when him and Robinson have been clogging up the middle every other game and are a big reason why we only had 1 goal scored against us in the past 6 games.

His two goals were great, he seems to score in spurts, loved the header and then how he just put throught in the dying seconds of the first half.

Dichio's made a believer outta me these past couple games. Let's hope he keeps it up. We still have to sign another striker by middle of june.

to everyone who doubted him; look how stupid you areWhen we have a top class striker, he will score the same goals plus more. Dichio is still a one touch player. This is bad news.

at least with Dichio, when he gets the ball on his foot or head he scores 9 times out of 10. Yes, if he has to run too far for a pass, or make too many moves, he fails, but I've seen too many TFC players over the past year or so blow obvious chances. he doesn't. that's reassuring. I mean, this sounds normal for players in Europe, but in MLS it's not a given that a ball on a foot/head of a striker will be a goal. Dichio also has more strength than 95% of the defenders in this league.

I've been one of Dichio's biggest critics, and even though I didn't see the game last night; well there seems to be no need. Dichio was fantastic, according to everything I've read.

If he continues this type of play, well, I was very very wrong.

Danny is such a strong player, he really bulls his way through to the ball, his goal on Wednesday night against DCU was a perfect example of that, he is such a fighter in a good way and never gives up til the end, love what he brings to the pitch.

Dichio played great last night, but we still need another striker. In terms of depth, in terms of generating scoring chances. Another quality striker will give the team options in terms of changing formation when player are away on international duty. Another quality striker and we might have got some points last night.

There’s nothing anti-Dichio about suggesting the team needs another quality / DP level striker.

this weeks games against Montreal and the Galaxy will show us what
kind of team we have..maybe they will get back on track and prove the DC game was a one off crapper, but they will find these two games tough as well. The Impact would be looking forward to this after last nights farce, and im sure the Galaxy manager was watching as well...come
on you reds....2 wins this week.
