nothing like having a MLM company that makes soap as your sponsor:

Lol yeah, I remember the first time I saw that I thought I had misread it. Knowing the US, there's probably some person with no life who'll sue because it's offensive to women or something like that.

But good on SJ for getting a sponsor, a football jersey just doesn't look right without one. But remember those leagues that have their shirts NASCAR-ed (i.e. the whole shirt is covered with ads) are damn ugly though.

isn't it a three headed monster...

Alticor, Inc.

Quixtar, Inc.

Amway Corporation

Quixtar might look better on the jersey.

Quixtar Quakes.

Hey, any kind of sure income to any MLS team is a good thing these days.

although Amway isn't the greatest sponsor considering the quakes are in the middle of silicon valley, it does at least set a market floor for the team. When this deal expires they can go to Apple, Cisco, Sun etc. and say "well Amway paid us 3 million..."

They only own the North American distribution rights, though.

This is random, but I just noticed how the logo was very well done. I especially like the three starts for the three teams.

I guess this could be modified slightly when they play here:

Ain't gonna play on the pitch no more.
Gonna be Amway distributor.
Ain't gonna play on the pitch no more, no, no.
Gonna be Amway distributor.
You SUCK!

Why are the shirt sponsors everywhere so lame?

It used to be Toyota, JVC, Sony etc.

Now it's betting sites in Europe, and Herbalife and Amway over here.

Do we get to sew that on our Jersey when we win it? I like it.

Really though, my fam would wonder why I laughed/giggled whenever I saw Bimbo.
They still thought it was a bit odd when I finally explained it to them.
They did get me a new Chivas Bimbo kit though. :D

San Jose joins clubs such as Los Angeles, Chivas USA, Real Salt Lake, Houston, Chicago, Columbus and D.C. United who have secured jersey sponsorships.

why aren't we mentioned?

I'd have to disagree, I think it looks like three logos with a fourth slapped on top of them all, I also think the nutrilite icon clashes with the red, and the shape is all over the place.

So does this mean that if Huckerby gets a player to sign with the team, he gets 2% of their salary, and if that player brings someone in, Huckerby gets 0.5%, etc?

Really? I dunno. It looks a bit 1980s-ish. Not bad, but I think we could do better.

Amway seems like an all right sponsor. The problem with San Jose is they need to get rid of that ridiculous Earthquakes name they have.
