Take a look at Seattles hoodie and you can imagine exactly what Torontos new hoodie looks like.

Colorado and NY's shirts are great but what was Seattle thinking

I actually like Seattles Jersey ALOT.

Now having seen Houstons and RBs, I am less unhappy with our changes, it could have been worse. Houston's single gray sleeve - shockingly bad - what were they thinking?

the design is good.. but i hate those colours, to be honest. I'm glad TFC doesn't use those colours.. or that pissy yellow of Columbus.

The green Seatle jersey looks OK...the blue one with the green high-lights is kinda hard to look at.

The Shite-Bulls jersey is probably the ugliest jersey that I've ever seen. They took the giant corporate logo from last season and made it even bigger.

thats not grey on the dynamo shirt....its baby blue

Anybody know if they are selling jersey's anywhere outside of centre sports yet at the ACC? I am getting sick of walking in and saying "so do you STILL have no mediums? Whats the point in being the sole distributor if you guys can't even plan inventory properly. No wonder we haven't won a stanley cup in 40 years"....to which the over paid 'help' at the ACC respond "Well, we're the only ones who have them"....au contraire my less than stellar retail help...au contraire...cause you in fact HAVE NONE!

yes i'm ranting. But $300 worth of Raps/Leafs tickets and no TFC jersey still, pisses me off.

a couple of things...

is that a zipper on the Shite Bull Jersey?

Dynamo jersey = Fugly

Why are the jerseys so cheap on this site? It's BS that MLSE has a monopoly on the jerseys in Canada.

Dynamo jersey - one sleeve got dropped in the paint can??? WTF?

Chivas - So if for some reason the goats cannot wear their home jersery say against FC Dallas....why do they think their away jersey are any different? So Stupid IMO

Otherwise...nothing I am really impressed with. I think TFC's jersey looks a bit more fitted then the first one...Almost looking like the Kappa Roma fitted jersey's..any chance we can break away from Adidas and get a real footy kit?

deltox
01-17-2009, 06:52 PM
chivas have 3 kits

the home is red with white stripes

thw away is white with red stripes

and the 3rd is a dark blue (no stripes)

they wear the 3rd when playing against red teams or again dallas.

when chivas are at bmo, they wear the dark blue.

It goes over top of the game jersey. Don't know what the point of it is... I guess just extra merchandise to sell.

This is why I so dislike Adidas kits. Between the questionable colours, poor design, and those fucking three stripes everywhere, the jerseys are simply too busy - even ours. I almost hate to say this, but I do hope MLS changes suppliers in favour of Nike when the current contract expires.

Call me crazy or whatever, but I like the Red Bulls zip up jersey (with the exception of that huge sponsor on the front)..Never seen any Adidas jersey like that before. I think I might be the only one here that actually likes the Red Bulls new jersey design...

I very much liked Seattle's jersey, primarily because of the colours. And I laughed when I read the comment about Houston's jersey being dipped in paint, it bugged me that I couldn't figure out why that jersey bothered me so much.

Is it actually a zipper? That just seems dangerous in addition to ugly.

Where can we get those TFC hoodies? IS centre sports the sole supplier on that one as well? Shoul I just not even try to get it due to the fact that they will not have it in my size?

^^^ it's kinda like that preacher/mandarin collar that retailers tried to push in the '90s.

It is based off of a rugby jersey collar. It is useful in rugby because it does not provide any additional material for someone to pull you down with. Here, it makes absolutely no sense and makes NewYork look like the newest addition to the Tour De France.

Wait until mid-March. The stuff'll all be coming out then. Most everywhere that's interested in carrying it.

Why would they wait until the month the season starts to release everything?!
Is it an MLS date that they are waiting for? Or is MLSE very poorly creating some sense of elitism by not having regular sized jerseys in stock?

I was thinking the same thing and I thought these were actually based off a Red Bull cycling team but, to my astonishment, Red Bull doesn't have one.

the dark LA jersey is probably one of the best designed ones in the league.
Clearly, they know which jerseys are going to be selling, so that's the show piece.

I think LA has it right, tho TFC does also have a very nice one, I disagree with people's opinions that it's one of the worst, maybe thats the Canadiana in me.:canada:
