6) O'Brian White and Cronin were always the picks they had in mind
7) They were offered one trade that wanted both their 2nd and 4rth, but it was too much
8) Frei was a bonus as they didn't think he would be there that late
9) He talked as if all goalies would be kept (Monsalve is in Norway I think)
10) It sounded like he wasn't going to do more trades after the two rumored signings.

I have it from very reliable sources that Mo has been in discussions with Conejo de Pascua. I'm quite excited. He's lighting quick and would sprint past most MLS defences quite easily.

As long as he learned from it, I can get over it. We were essentially used as a tool by Dickov, to get a better deal from Leicester City.

But when that deal fell through, and it became apparent that NOTHING was going to happen for us at the international transfer deadline, I was pretty bummed out.

I remember a lot of people were scoffing at the possibility of Huckerby coming here at the time, though, and he turned out pretty well. Who knows what Dickov could have done.

But yeah - saddling all of your hopes on a single, aging striker playing in one of the lower English divisions, was not smart. :D

Sam Cronin mentioned he is a buddy with Brian Edwards (who incidentally raved to him about the club, the fans and the city).
So... looks like he may have an easy time getting acclimatized.

Sam also mentioned that he talked to the other draftees and all of them realize that they have a good shot with TFC and are excited about coming to Toronto.

Sam sounds like an intelligent guy... well spoken. I look forward to watching him play for TFC.

He's saying all the right things.

1)Dero - here for sure. Trying to secure longer term, but he is on a 2 year deal and will play.

2)Looking to add a striker and defender "then we're set"

3)Has a South American Striker lined up, just need to get the contract sorted

4)Looking for locker room stability, doesn't want to make a lot of changes.
