Evening, folks.

Just working on Danny's site and we've added a page about that famous goal (http://www.dichio24.com/2313.html). Now we're looking to add links to any stories or videos about the event.

I think I've got all the YouTube vids, and I've got Ben Knight's awesome article (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20071228.WBsoccerblog20071228215435/WBStory/WBsoccerblog) (which I've linked to again here because it's great and he's great) plus a couple of other things, but we need more.

If you know of any good stuff that discusses TFC's first goal in particular, could you help a brother out and post a link in here? I'll gather them up and we'll see about putting them on the page.

(But we'll be careful - don't want another video flap!)

These have always been the lyrics... We were the ones to introduce the song when everyone else was doing the PNE Dichio tune... also a good chant.

In fact I can probably tell you the day this chant was born for Dichio... Flats posted it in the old board himself... but I digress

All you have to do is listen to the song Pop Goes the World. Listen to the tune on the synthecizer (sp?) and you'll know how many Danny's should be in the song.

Been sung with only one since day one.

The fact is that the original (by the man, Flats himself) only had the single Dichio, not Danny Dichio.

Others started singing with with the extra Dannys and will probably never change. It is what it is...I no longer care. But let's not rewrite history. The song was originally sung with only the "Dichiooooo".

I think that tap in is to simple, it was all effort, he would not let the deffender push him back, and he went down to push the ball to the back of the net. Tap in is what Cunningham could not do in front of the (open )Impact net.

I'm sure they wouldn't. One of the artists is RPL Producer on the board so you can PM him if you want to. I'm sure he'd also be able to flip you the MP3 of the track
