Draft will be live on Toronto FC website

Good news!

Toronto FC announced that the team’s official website, www.torontofc.ca (http://www.torontofc.ca/) will be broadcasting the 2009 MLS SuperDraft exclusively in Canada via the website. This year’s Superdraft is slated for Thursday, January 15 and will be held at the Saint Louis Convention Center in St.Louis. The first round will be aired live on ESPN2 beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Torontofc.ca will stream the SuperDraft on TFC TV; viewers should just follow the link to be connected live. Toronto FC is slated to have three picks in the 1st round of the SuperDraft, 2nd, 4th, and 13th. The entire Draft will last four rounds, Toronto will choose in the 3rd round.

i'm excited.. not because I think the draft really matters that much, but that we get some real TFC action (in an administrative sense!) on this cold day....! and it might set in motion some deals.

i wonder if any TFC fans have traveled to the draft? anyone know?
