That's just about some 600k for the year for Fowler - give or take. Not sure if he's fit enough to play, even at our level, but if he is and they manage to sign him for that fee it'll be a bargain.

lol. i can't see how both teams will fit these guys under their salary cap and without extra DP spots

chicago would fall apart if they did that.
they don't have allocation to pay down the salary, so they'd need a second DP slot.. which would mean clearing out 2-3 decent players. then when those guys are gone in a year or so, or they get injured, the team will be in shambles.

Morientes? would be good for an established team needing a push over the top, but a waste for Seattle.. they are gonna stink anyways due to lack of chemistry as they try to figure out their roster. they should try to build a core and then add a guy next year if it works.

^ I did not even see that. There is no way the LA would pay the money that would be needed to sign Panucci. It would take DP money in this league anf they would not use it on a back.

Morientes to Seattle makes no sense. They have defective....errrr designated player in Ljundberg, don't they?

but a good striker would be nice, eh?

though i don't see how morientes would come for less than DP money

How do these teams expect to pay for these players?
Arent their salaries maxed not to mention the fact that they both have DPs already?
