Toronto FC goalkeeper Greg Sutton believes the arrival of fellow Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario is a key moment in the club's history. De Rosario was signed by the Reds on Friday in exchange for Julius James and allocation money. Sutton has played alongside De Rosario for Canada and expects him to have a big impact. "It's exciting for the club," said Sutton. "Dwayne's a talented player with an attacking presence. He's creative and isn't afraid to try things which is something that our line up is looking for. He will add something different to our attacking style and it's great for the team to be able to start expressing itself in an attacking way."

Passionate fans who live and breathe their team and their heroes feel a close connection.
Just when you thought a specific player was “ours,” he is gone and the fan is left like a jilted lover. The reality is that players come and go for a variety of reasons and are only “borrowed” by franchises.
Last Friday, the announcement of Dynamo star Dwayne DeRosario being traded to Toronto FC was a jaw-dropper and hit many like a body blow. Fans were caught offguard and now life without DeRosario has officially begun in Houston. ...

First big MLS deal of offseason
[MLS] A month after its bid for its third straight MLS title ended, Houston Dynamo dealt star Dwayne De Rosario to Toronto FC as part of its effort to rebuild its attack. De Rosario, who grew up in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, returned home in a trade that sent Trinidad & Tobago defender Julius James and allocation money reported to be between $125,000 and $150,000 to the Dynamo.
D-Ro won two MLS titles with San Jose and two with Houston in his eight-year MLS career. He earned $325,000 in 2008 and has two years remaining on his contract.
