Sutton adds voice to the choir

TORONTO — Goalkeeper Greg Sutton has added his voice to those Canadian soccer players asking for change in the way the sport is organized and run in Canada.
Jim Brennan and Dwayne DeRosario have already spoken out about dissatisfaction with the ailing men's national team program. Sutton believes those players speak for others, but says that problems runs deep within the Canadian Soccer Association...

Toronto FC adds Maple Leaf logo to jersey

Toronto FC unveiled its new jersey tonight, adding a subtly embossed Maple Leaf to the front among other tweaks.
The home jersey remains red with slightly different grey and black trim. A Maple Leaf flag is added to the upper left arm and the team motto "All for One" is printed on the back of the collar.
The new home edition also has a collar.
The away jersey is grey, without a collar, and has the motto printed on the shoulder. The MLS team will usually wear black shorts and socks on the road and red at home in BMO Field.

Toronto FC players Jim Brennan, Danny Dichio, Todd Dunivant, Rohan Ricketts, Chad Barrett and Greg Sutton joined hundreds of team supporters Thursday night to unveil the team's new 2009 home and away uniforms. It is the first time the team has changed its uniform since its inception. The new home jersey is red with grey trim and has a distinctly Canadian flavour with an embossed maple leaf featured in the centre and an embroidered Canadian flag patch on the left sleeve. A major new element of the new home jersey is the addition of a collar. The phrase 'ALL FOR ONE' is printed on the back of the collar to symbolize the unique relationship between the team and its supporters.
