1. MLS supporters. Seems like just yesterday I was writing a piece for ESPN The Magazine about Sam Pierron and his idea to create the Supporters' Shield and award it to the regular season points leader every year. Watching the final and seeing the supporters of both the Crew and the Red Bulls singing their lungs out, knowing how far they had to travel, and the sacrifices they had to make to get to Los Angeles, reminded me how passionate MLS supporters are. Year to year, it only gets stronger.

+1

as much as i hate RBNY and the Crew, both teams had never been to the MLS Cup final, so all jokes aside about their support, it must of been a great experience for their supporters to be in LA for the final. I hope TFC Supporters can experience the thrill of an MLS Cup match a lot sooner than the Crew/Redbull

I assume the concern is over his delusional number one pick, in the wake of attendance averages across the league being down about 1%. But he's got a point; even in towns where the turnout isn't always great, the crowds are getting louder.

And not to be a typically arrogant TFC supporter but -- as well co-ordinated as Barra Brava are -- this didn't happen until TFC fans upped the ante. Plain and simple.

And by the looks of things Seattle may up the ante again and then who knows, the Sons of Ben may up it further in Philly. There's a good chance the new stadium in New York will also be full and loud.
