The Sun
The Star
The Globe and Mail

the Sun was my paper of choice till it went up to $1.50, it still gives TFC better
coverage then the other Toronto dailys.

WAS the Globe and Mail. Now there isn't a papers soccer coverage worth reading. They don't take our sport seriously so I don't take their paper seriously.

Globe - Hands down the best in both 07 and 08. Larry Milson's articles were always worth a good read.

i think the star took our sport seriously enough to put this together:

http://www.thestar.com/Sports/article/407273

this was accompanied by a four page spread in the star the following day.

they will continue to grow their tfc coverage trust me.

I'd say the Globe still, but the Sun has been consistent with TFC news still popping up, heck an entire page on the MLS cup too...

^^^ What he said! Thanks D.

O yeah... The G&M just gave Ben Knight the boot didn't they?
So much for coverage of footy in general.

Like how both the Sun and Globe cover TFC. Larry Millson has done a great job at the Globe as a beat writer, with some nice opinion work by Ben Knight. The Sun's Bill Lankhof has been a complete shock in that he was once the knob of the paper with his weekly cheap shot column. Instead, he's done some great work covering soccer. McNulty is just OK and I know he would rather be covering stock car racing - any kind of stock car racing. Good photo usage, though.

The Star just can't get over the fact that they tried everything they could to stop the stadium from being built and dumped all over the concept of another pro soccer team in TO.

They were soon discovered to be entirely irrelevant. That's gotta hurt.

Kettle Cally has come to the grim realization that he's never going to be an important voice in the sport so he's just going to be a bitter little bitchy one.

I hope they keep him covering the sport for years so his suffering isn't mercifully brief.

The National Post is the best paper by miles, but terrible for football coverage.

Just set up an RSS feed for all of their TFC sections and have it go right to your phone/computer when a new article is put up.

None do; and then from a pure football perspective, none again!

I'll read the Globe more now that Knight is gone; his preaching to the choir storylines grew old real fast.

If I want to read footy, I rely on "twitter" now.

Paul Attfield at the globe is arguable the best and most informed footy reporter in the city.

Doesn't that title belong to Steve Simmons? :D
