It wouldn't be a bad choice for Seattle.
They seem to be putting all the pieces in place for a good expansion year.

^^ just being a team in the MLS usually kills your chance at a repeat... unless your name is Houston.

they should make a move for Dale Mitchell that way the CSA would not have to pay him for the next 2 years...come on Dale go to Columbus!!

Now wouldn't that be tampering though? Not that is matters the MLS front office is to stupid to realize it. I heard about this on FSWC last night.....oh well it was either go to Seattle or hang myself if I had to come back to Columbus!! lol

Portion of article:

According to a member of the Crew's coaching staff, the rest of Schmid's assistants are out of contract, as well, but retaining Schmid, the MLS coach of the year, might be the most pressing order of business.
Schmid met with Hunt yesterday but said the meeting focused mainly on personnel issues. His contract expires Sunday. When it does, he plans to explore his options.
Schmid has been linked to a move to the Sounders and did not make the final decision on which players the Crew would protect.
The Crew has not given Schmid permission to talk to other teams, and one league source said the Crew filed tampering charges against Seattle. Schmid said he has had no contact with the Sounders, although one league source said Seattle was prepared to offer Schmid a guaranteed four-year contract worth about $2 million, a yearly salary more than twice what he was paid this season.

See you in Seattle Sigi!:D
