In my opinion, players like Blanco and Schelotto have done as much as Beckham in promoting the league.
And at least they made it into the playoffs.

You can't figure out why someone would move from Buenos Aires to Columbus? Me neither...
As for the names mentioned at the end of the article, I wouldn't mind trying to solve our goal scoring problem with Martín Palermo...especially if we can get him on a near but not quite DP type of contract that GBS has.

ya moving from a city and team with some of the most hardcore and dedicated fans in the world, with probably the craziest atmosphere in the world to a shit place like columbus with no fans and no atmosphere is beyond me!

And now that two teams with DPs were the ones duking it out in the MLS Final, I think we can put the whole "good teams don't need a DP" thing to rest.
And yes, Schelotto is a DP, let's not go down this road.
