Anyone have any inside info on where most of the season ticket holders live?

I only wonder because the GO train is always packed going west and the opposite going east.

Same with the direction of traffic.

Brantford, you will always see the go filled going west bound, right up to aldershot they transfering to Hamilton, a lot of TFC fans are from outside TO.

My guess is people tend to inhabit the western areas more so than the eastern areas because they have nicer restaurants:D.

Mississauga. Clarkson GO is packed with red on gamedays. Port Credit has a surprising # of fans coming onboard too. I thought only bums lived there.
I love the convenience of the train.

how long does it take to get to aldershot???
i am trying to weigh train vs car, but i think that the train will take much longer.
i get home from BMO in 2 hours 15 with traffic, when the whistle goes, i run for my car.

Yeah seems to be alot coming from the westend. Every game day I take the train from the Clarkson Go station and it's rammed. Even getting on the train it's already rammed. Great to see that this team can influence people all over the city and really all over the province.

No One is on the Go Bus from Uxbrigde (Uxbridge, Stouffville, Markham, Unionville, Union Station). It sucks.

Then again, Ive never gone at the time that would get me in time for the game. Im usually 5 hours before kickoff. haha:p

which makes one wonder why all of the pub nights are in Toronto or not far out of Toronto...

Toronto kits are still pretty few and far between in Oshawa, even though the eastbound train is packed.

^^ East Lakeshore train is CRAZY on gameday! But yeah, not a lot of soccer jerseys anywhere in Durham from what I've seen.

A lot of that perception of fullness has to do with the fact that the Westbound trains have just left Union Station. That's a big part of the reason why they're full up by the time TFC fans have piled in.

By the time the Eastbound train reaches Union, one stop down the line, it's packed to the tits.

I'm in Scarborough. My station stop is Scarborough (Midland & St. Clair). Depending on the kickoff time, there are between 50 and 200 TFC jerseys on display at that station when I show up. And there are already plenty on the train when it gets there as well...2 stops before Union (Danforth being the other).

I can always spot a few TFC kits when I wait for the GO train at Guildwood Station in Scarborough. I remember meeting Flush at that station back in August.

I live in crappy Brampton and there are no trains running during the weekends so I have no choice but to drive :-(

I don't see many TFC shirts here. In fact, a funny thing happened during the season. I was in Sobey's and I saw a guy wearing a TFC shirt and I was so happy to see it I was looking at him and smiling but then I realised that he had no idea why I was smiling at him and so I think he thought I was eyeing him up because I kept seeing him after that looking at me and he even ended up behind me in the checkout line. I felt like saying to him 'Dude, I'm not interested in you, I'm just a fellow TFC fan!' It was a bit embarassing :-)

At least you guys have a train <sigh>.
When we came down for a game we parked in Pickering and took the Go Train in.
Downright civilized transportation. As previously stated the train trip to start for home was not crowded at first (we left right after the game :( having to drive back that night) but got busy @ Union.

I used to come down from bloor on the bathurst streetcar and they'd put on free buses just for TFC fans to BMO Field, which were always packed to the tits, could never get on the first couple to leave in fact. Do they still do that?

I love the convenience of the train. Lol, there are some areas in Port Credit that are way nicer than Clarkson. Clarkson has like 1-2 nice areas.

Usually when I'm taking the westbound home after a match, I find there are WAY more people going west in comparison to eastbound. It just seems like our platform is always a lot more full.

see more people travel on the west Go train then the east because of city population:

West Side Cities:
Mississauga 705,000
Oakville 165,000
Burlington 164,000
Hamilton 505,000

East side Cities
Pickering 85,000
Ajax 93,000
Whitby 111,000
Oshawa 141,000

i mean all 4 east side towns together dont equal the population of both Hamilton or Mississauga!

Haha, when I see anyone wearing a TFC jersey I always yell "TFC!"... sometimes its not the best time to be yelling (library at UBC), but it gets the point across. On the other hand, any beckham jersey is met with "Beckham sucks!" white whitecrap jerseys are met with "Whitecraps? what a waste of money... that dude's a bandwagonner". Haven't gotten beat up yet (although there was that one altercation....) .... lol
