we get credit now?
does that come with our membership?
is it like Air Miles?
Do we have to cash it in by the end of the year, or can we save up the credit to get something really big?

Scrumpy, but I'm using plain vodka next time. The black vodka had undesired side effects on the drink colouration.

they're trying to figure out which players are actually willing to go to scarborough..... that's why the details aren't up yet.

DeRo should be there, not too far for him to go if he's back in the hood.

ummm... doesn't he play for Houston? Right, he does.

I'm sure his professional agent would flip if he knew DeRo was going to a TFC event like that.

Three Toronto FC players are scheduled to be at the Pub Crawl (players may change due to unforeseen circumstances). Here are a few clues as to who will be there on Thursday:
Player 1:
Despite reports to the contrary, his brother is NOT a panda activist
He puts salt and pepper on fruit
He cooks for a kiwi
Player 2: danny dichio ?
He scored in his first ever MLS game and also in his first ever game at BMO Field
He has the longest toes on the team
He grew up with Jolly Rancher
Player 3:
If he's not at BMO Field, he can be found at the corner of Wellington Street and Blue Jays Way
He has a Wikipedia entry in English, Italian and Swedish
He had front row tickets for Mary J Blige

A member of the team's backroom staff will also be in attendance. He has won an MLS Cup.

#2 is Dunivant? He grew up in the same town where Jolly Rancher Co is based...

He scored in his debut with the 'Quakes vs the Rapids in their first game of the season (a 2-1 win) and was quoted after as saying "I scored in the first game of the season, so I'm done for this year, no more scoring."

Sonny Cheeba
11-19-2008, 07:14 PM
i don't think dunivant scored for tfc has he? or did he score against us

sulfur
11-19-2008, 07:34 PM
He hasn't scored for us that I know of, so I'd guess that he must've scored against?

The only other players on our roster that I could find that scored in their debuts were Jarrod Smith (never scored at BMO) and Ibrahim (ditto).

stretchthetruth
11-19-2008, 08:13 PM
dunivant scored at bmo against Aston Villa in the friendly...

#3 is RR- His wiki is in those languages & I heard about his front row Mary J Blige tix somewhere else.

so this is what I have so far

Dunivant:
He scored in his first ever MLS game (April 12, 2003 for San Jose vs. Colorado) and also in his first ever game at BMO Field (Aston Villa friendly, July 25th 2007)
He has the longest toes on the team (don't wanna know)
He grew up with Jolly Rancher (His hometown of Wheat Ridge, Colorado is where Jolly Rancher candies used to be made)

Ricketts:
If he's not at BMO Field, he can be found at the corner of Wellington Street and Blue Jays Way (maybe he likes Pizza Rustica...?)
He has a Wikipedia entry in English, Italian and Swedish (it's true...he does)
He had front row tickets for Mary J Blige (Ricketts loves R&B & hiphop)

dunivant scored at bmo against Aston Villa in the friendly...
Interestingly, not his first appearance according to his bio. It states that he played for the Red Bulls at BMO the week prior.

or if that was an oversight...

My guess is an oversight to be honest. Someone should ask him about it.

There's nobody else on the squad that fits the Jolly Rancher bit. :)

Hitcho
11-20-2008, 11:08 AM
so it's JJ, Dunivant, RR (again) and probably MoJo (are they really gonna send the kit man?! I think it would be kind of cool and plenty of fans would love to talk to him, but in reality it probbaly won't happen, and Mo has been on these before as I recall).
