Considering the totally crap money 90% of MLS players make over their short careers, anyone know if there are plans for MLS to copy other leagues and fast track retired players through referee training, as a second stage of football relaed career?

Retired players usually make good refs, and MLS could use some of those. This sort of retraining is picking up pace in other countries, but I haven't heard anything over here yet.

Danny Dichio as a referee once he finally retires.... the mind boggles :p
Would love to see the first player who tries to get in his face to argue.

Dichio could become the new Collina.
