Pena gets CSL Rookie award

Scored six goals in 21 games for TFC U-18 team

Toronto FC announced Monday that Adrian Pena was named the Canadian Soccer League's Rookie of the Year in an awards ceremony on Sunday after the conclusion of the CSL's season. Pena, 18, was a member of the TFC U-18 team and scored six times in 21 games, the most appearances by any player in the Academy. Pena currently is a member of the York University squad where he has tallied eight goals in 14 games in the CIS.

It's as if when he read it originally he wrote it down and filed it under "to be used next time I write a stupid article that misrepresents the standard of the MLS to soccer neophytes"
