Wynne sets playoff target
Reds defender expects team to return stronger

Toronto FC defender Marvell Wynne believes the team has a good base to build on for next season. After just missing out on a place in the playoffs this year, Wynne is confident the Reds can make another big improvement in 2009.

I love how she wants to have 6 kids. The guy who marries her, have fun paying for 6 little ones...

As for Wynne stating that TFC wants to make the play-offs... Is that not the goal every year. And was that not the main objective this year?

Wynn actually said "...Next year making the playoffs is a must..."

Of course its the goal every year, and was the goal this year. But next year, being year three, having the core players in place and the support - its a MUST...

Can't argue with him there...

Nine players from the TFC Academy Under-16 team have been invited to Montreal for a training camp with Canada's U17 National team.

Like I said before, TFC Academy is going to become a soccer factory for Canada in the future. Toronto has a huge population of kids that play soccer regularly. In TFC P.O.V, if they can produce quality players good enough to play in Europe, then TFC are going to make some serious money.
