it will be broadcast live on TV, if you have "bold" channel 277 on Rogers.

It's listed as showing live on Country Canada (641 on Expressvu)

But the main CBC listings for Tuesday show "Stanley Cup Playoffs", which is clearly wrong (the hockey is going Monday and Wednesday)

calling John Molinaro......

Yes for webstream!
PLEASE use the cameras used last time for the Impact/Whitecaps game! I can actually see the call as round and not a block!

Here's the deal...

The game will be broadcast LIVE on cbc bold (our digital channel formerly known as country canada). if you don't get bold, you can watch the game LIVE on cbcsports.ca

the game will be replayed at midnight (local time) on the main cbc network.

Cheers,

John

Thanks John

btw John (off topic I know, but this is the most mystifying thing in big-time TV sports in years).....who is the scheduling genius who put the first 3 games of the Stanley Cup finals (with the Detroit Red Wings) head-to-head against the Detroit Pistons games in the NBA semis?

Just wondering.

haha

I like the rebranding of CBC Country Canada.

That was honestly the worst name for a television network ive ever heard.

I think most people upon hearing the name 'CBC Country Canada' assumed it was a channel that showed nothing but re-runs of Anne of Green Gables and documentaries about wheat farming on the praries.

Whatever genius named that channel deserved to get canned.

Scheduling the TFC game at midnight made some sense when Game 1 of the Stanley Cup was scheduled at 8 pm, but now it's not on Tuesday at all, and all that is scheduled is repeats of old comedy programs.

Why they haven't changed it to a live broadcast I don't know.

I just called CBC audience relations. They are logging complaints, presumably if there's enough, they will change something. 416-205-3311

You can also contact them on the net at http://www.cbc.ca/contact/ - or better yet, do both.

will it be live on the french channel?Oddly, SRC has it scheduled for 11:45 pm - not sure what that is about, as they don't even carry hockey.
