Toronto fans often joked that they would have been glad to see the team trade him for a bag of balls, just so long as he left town.

LOL! Aw come on John! That's straight of this site!

Also straight from the press box at BMO Field.

There are fans in the press box? Thats awesome.

I don't care if he finishes the season as league leading scorer in Dallas, he wasn't going to do that here.

so Cunningham has had three coaches who disliked his attitude and presence in the locker room:

Clavijo from Colorado
Kreis from Salt Lake
Carver from Toronto...

And soon enough the Dallas coach.

Remember...Cunny didn't really have problems here the first year...even though he was injured half the time.

Just wait until next year.

ya, once Kenny Cooper goes to europe... then we'll see Cunningham breakdown as the main man.

Exactly. Even if that fucker brings home the golden boot - he never tried to do anything here.

Every time I hear about that guy scoring a goal, I don't regret trading him - I get angry. Because it clearly means the guy just didn't give a fuck in Toronto.

Hopefully Dallas ends up getting burned by this trade in the long run.

Cunningham is doing well for the time being and so it goes.

Fact is he never was, and was never going to be, a useful player for us.

Not worth a second thought.

Besides, he'll start resting on his laurels soon enough, and revert to the lazy bastard we know him to be :)

What was I saying about him not wanting to play under pressure?

Nobody cared in the old MLS, there was no pressure. Now he's gone somewhere where they have the best striker in MLS, and he doesn't have to play in front of us every week either.

His performance to-date in Dallas does state a case for the fact.
