Nice stadium. Could do without the massive concrete walls around the field but other than that it's looks good.

weak red. He should have kept his head up.

Sonny Cheeba

ouch. kick to the head.

but sometimes i don't think it's necessarily a high kick but a low head. there i guess the kick was waist high. that happens all the time. maybe both feet were off the ground?

someone fill me in on the high kick rule

it's best for us that RSL wins. RSL is in the 3rd spot in the west, a spot we can't get anyways. new york won't catch the 3rd spot in the east, so they will always be competing for those two wildcard spots.

would have been better if RSL won but a tie is ok

This was one of those games that you could almost argue for any result, however the RSL win would have been preferred.

We're no different than where we were, with 34 points still being the last spot, everyone in the hunt, technically.

I caught this game last night and just wanted to mention what a horrible game the referee had. Itīs good to know that itīs not just our games that our poorly refīd but I couldnīt believe what I was watching. No card for Angelīs aggresive leaping two footed challenge, no yellow for flipping the ref the bird, and a straight red for a high kick where the guy was staring at the ball the whole time and Mathis ran into a foot. The refereeīs are so awful itīs unbelievable. unbelievable.

that's two weeks in a row that Angel did something very dangerous... last week he got right into the back of Guevara's leg.

While its in the discretion of the referee whether the kick is high or the head is low, it can be dangerous play (the official term for "high foot") when someone's head is too low. So although you're endangering yourself, it is possible to get a yellow card for trying to head the ball below your waist if theres an opponent playing it with his feet right beside you.

So this result actually helped us by 2% according to http://www.sportsclubstats.com/USA/MLS/East/TorontoFC.html

So, our chances of gaining 7th or 8th place now stands at 90% with three victories. 2 victories and draw is 37%, 2 victories and a loss is 7% and one victory and two draws is 0.8%.
