The answer is that losing football is bad for your health:

“Football does have positive effects on people’s psychological well-being. It gives people a ready-made topic of conversation where opinions on team selection, strategy, and players (http://soccerlens.com/tags/general/players/)’ skills are enjoyable topics for debate. Many people have made good friends and even met their spouses through football.”
But there is a down side to this whole football thing because some supporters apparently admit to becoming aggressive whilst watching a game (that’ll be the ref again), some even admit to the odd row with the wife after, and here’s the real shocker – heavy drinking is often a key element in that ‘good day out.’ So maybe losing isn’t such a great experience after all, because the news is that in a study of two major Scottish football teams (http://soccerlens.com/tags/teams/) (no prizes for guessing) it was found that after a few defeats too many, some of their supporters experienced anxiety, irritability, sleep problems and headaches – nothing to do with the alcohol at all apparently!http://soccerlens.com/is-football-bad-for-your-health/10540/

So I admit to being depressed. Any other fellow-sufferers?

I am married and quite happily so but yes I have been feeling the "blues" lately...I am sure helped by the upcoming end of the season and the change in weather.

Our team sucks. The first year was to be expected, but not this year. If the TFC-org doesn't care why should we?

When I think of TFC I get sad, so much potential at the beggining of both seasons, and nothing. I am disapointed at the play of the team and play in general in the MLS. It is all shite. I stay loyal because I want to see better, but fuck is it ever bad. As soon as European leagues start it becomes ever more evident.

I think a Big part of growing the fuck up is when you realize what football is to u ..
Win or lose you can still see the gang and drink or cheer etc..
But who really gives a fuck if they win or lose at the end of the day .. Its football for christ sakes
move on and suck it up
