Can't wait to see what Archer's blog on BS will be like after the game if he goes to it lol

Despite the attempted manufacture of a rivalry between columbus and TFC... I really don't care about Columbus, trillium cup or not. Sure I want to see TFC beat them as I would any other team, but wins against Chicago and NYRB would just be that much sweeter.

My hatred is all Chicago and NYRB. Chicago because of what went down prior to and during the McBride deal and NYRB...well I am not sure why...perhaps just because they are from NY.

09-05-2008, 08:32 AM
Well aside from the obvious astonishment that Columbus even has 100 fans, we know it can't be any more than that because that's the max away support allocation. Plus, there is a good chance that a bus will be turned away at rhe border after one of them makes some sort of racist/terrorist comment that they'll excuse as "only as a joke" or something.

james
09-05-2008, 05:47 PM
im pretty sure we bring 100-300 for every game we play away vs Chicago, New England, DC United, NYRB and Montreal. (only reason we had 250 travel away to Montreal was because it was a weekday game and people had work and shit and alot of fans went to DC the weekend before....had it been a weekend it would of been more like 5,000)

and we had what 2,500-3,000 in columbus.....100 travelling here is nothing to us!

Marco2K
09-05-2008, 06:08 PM
we had more then 250 in montreal. I was there but was not in that section.

i was there to.....maybe we had 300-400, tops tho. Nothing like we could get had maybe 200-300 had not gone to DC just days before and had it not been a Tuesday night just AFTER the long weekend. If we ever play them on Saturday, WOW its gonna be crazy. I bet we would have even more then we did in Columbus!

Marco2K

Hey james i know. It will be fuckin crazy.

300 -500 of us turned into outright chaos.

AND THE BEST PART IS WE WON THAT GAME.

ITS FUCKIN SAD.
After that huge road win i thought the cup was ours. All we really had to do was win one more game and a tie.

And we fucked it up.

Im still fuckin bitter.

Im going out tonight, I hope i run into MO!

We haven't had one single DC trip that rivaled the Chicago trips from this year or last year.

^ Seconded. Brazen Head is probably the best option. It's a fake supporter's bar and they are fake supporters. Matchmaking is fun!

Kidding aside, I don't want to get into the debate again, but they're a multitude of reasons to keep Shoeless Joe's a bar exclusively for TFC fans.

Well, I was at Shoeless' for the last match against the mASSive. One of their supporters (Brad) is also a Pittsburgh Riverhound (USL-2) supporter like me.
