Bitchy, she's probably the longest serving member of the team who will probably be playing.

Dichio if he is playing, Ricketts if he isn't

If Dichio is on the pitch at the start, he should wear the armband (even though he sometimes isn't the coolest head on the pitch, which you need your captain to be to talk with the official)...

Rickets seems like an obvious 2nd choice for me, but to be honest I have no idea how he is interacting with the officials... I know the Captain is there to lead their team, but speaking with the ref, not yelling at him, is an important function... I plain just don't know how he is with the refs -anyone notice his demeanor with the officials this season (good or bad)...?

Maybe we should give it to Ibee - if he complained to harsh to the official they wouldn't send him off, they'd ground him! :D

I say Ricketts. Hasn't he worn it already once though for a bit?

Put me in coach... ( I already have my own TFC jersey with name and number on back. I'll even play for free!)

1. Dichio
2. Velez
3. Ricketts

I know people wouldn't want to see Velez with the captain's armband, but it would make sense as he captained his team last year (Puerto Rico Islanders) and he also captains his national team.

2)Ricketts

and hesitantly 3)Sutton

Brennan can phone in his captainship.

What happened to Brennan's 'club first' mentality that he had last year?

Hmm...you make a good point Shaughno. I mean we are down to bare bones and I think it is unlikely that Brennan even gets on the pitch in Montreal.

Better off staying with TFC? I think so.

Shaughno

Like he did last year under similar circumstances...

^ This may be another result/example of the club seemingly having lost focus,.

Are we New here? Sutton is going to be in Montreal with CMNT.....

As for me, i would have to say give it to Derek, what do we have to lose?

Sutton may not be in Montreal but he's probably ruled out of any action as he and his wife are expecting a baby on the weekend.

Dichio most likely. Maybe Ricketts, but I'll put a bet on DD getting the armband.

I don't know if i can see DD talking to the ref's or anything calmly,
What about Edwards?

Clearly is has to be Joey Melo.

What happened to Brennan's 'club first' mentality that he had last year?

World Cup>Gold Cup

and he realized that is isn't in England anymore, that mentality isn't expected of him.

Well said.

So Dichio is starting?
I hope he's fine and not at risk to being lost for the rest of the season.

Holy shit that is retarded. BRENNAN SKIPPED FRIENDLIES AND A GOLD CUP. Not World fucking Cup Qualifying. Every kid has a dream to represent their country in the World Cup if Brennan skips out it is likely Mitchell will never call him again and instead call De Jong.
