aww shit. that's awful for the kid. and it means one less guy for that stretch when the players get called up for international duty.

Shit that sucks I was hoping he'd be able to earn a starting spot for good with these auditions. But that FYI is why he wasn't playing on Saturday

Yep - I learned today that we'll be down by 7 players when we play Chivas at home.

They'll be in Montreal, cheering on the men against Honduras.

Makes sense - I thought he might be referring to some sort of protest that I hadn't heard about.

That really sucks for him. Also in the article, Danny D still suffering from a concussion and "[Carver] was only going to use him in an emergency" on saturday! What emergency warrants Danny D going in with a concussion!? Carver/the Medical Staff better smarten up.

^^^ i was wondering that myself.

what the hell is an emergency? i cant think of any situation that would call for Danny to come on if he aint healthy.

and these international callups are starting to get ridiculas. it's a good thing we aren't at an important part of the season... or in the middle of a playoff race...

oh wait a minute.... we are.

I'm guessing it's pure gamesmanship. Carver was probably fucking with NE playing head games so they had to wonder if/when he was coming in all game. Then they say "as an emergency" to cover it up a bit. Also notice no announcement about Ruiz before the game.

An emergency being if we have 0 strikers healthy Danny D is probably at 50% or something in his recovery and Carver doesn't want to force him

He's been steadily improving, but fuck he's injury prone. Might end up a huge handicap to the progression of his career.

No kidding I hope he's just unlucky instead of injury prone but we'll see i guess

Feel really sorry for him coz he came in and done very well.

Listens to everyone thats speaks to him and now with Marvell back he will most likely be sitting down for awhile.

I thought Attakora was going to win a starter's spot. Youngest defender in the league I think.

He is better than James and Velez.

He's better than Wynne too (defensive positioning-wise) I was really hoping to see Wynne as an out and out winger and Nana slotting in at the back.

This is disappointing, but won't hurt us too much, as Carver has under used Nana all year....

That is a shame, but best that Attakora gets healed and maybe be back for the last few matches, and let us all pray, Playoffs!!
