There has been some criticism of TFC's inability to lure young Latin-American talent. I highly recommend that everyone read this article. It is probably the future of how talent will be developed and marketed around the world:

Guevara and Ruiz could be a start to build a relationship with the Latinos Young Players.
They just have to recommend good players and Mo/Carver can go after them and they will come when they know that they will play alongside somebody they know.

No young Brazilian starlet is going to come and play in the MLS on field turf for peanuts when they can go to Europe for big money. That's why you see mostly washed up 30+ year-olds coming here to play. Sad facts. Maybe someday this will not be the case. A grass field will be a good start...

Theirs a Canadian playing for Puebla FC in the Mexican Primera Division. He played on the U-23 squad. My understanding is he recently cracked the 1st team so he's still riding pine for now.
So there you go, and he'd count as a domestic! lol

No. What I read is an illegal operation flourishing with nobody having the balls to stop it.
I would hardly call it the future.
