Hey Guys...big CSL game tomorrow night (Friday, August 15) that should be of interest to TFC supporters and local soccer fans in general.

Astros feature one of the best players in the CSL in Shane Lammie and they've got a #10 who is really slick. The team is on a bit of a roll and trying to secure their playoff positioning.

TFC-A managed a big win last week and need to keep collecting wins to have a chance of making the playoffs.

I'd really like to see a good crowd tomorrow night at Lamport for this game. It's going to be on RogersTV so it would be great for the league to get a good crowd out for the game. There's no TFC home games this week and the CSL is a great way to get your soccer fix. Last week's Astros-Lions game was as entertaining a game as I've seen in a long while.

Hope to see some of you there.

Where do I get more info? How much are tickets? Do they get a decent turnout?

first few games were pretty good turnouts, lately been slow but last game it was okay. I believe the tickets at the gate were $15.00

I love the CSL but $15 at the gate is too high. $10.00 is more in line and even that is a bit steep in my opinion. I think its better to get 500 in the stadium at $5.00 to $7.00 per head than 200 people at $10 each because it gets more people watching the games.

I'll be there tonight guys. Hope to see some of you. I'll be the one toting around a 3 year old who will be more interested playing with his Hot Wheels cars than watching the game but as long as he's distracted, I'm happy because I get to watch the game in peace.

I agree. I've seen around a dozen CSL games over the past 3 years. Before TFC came around, I thought it was a pretty good deal, but I don't see how they can justify charging that much when my south end TFC season tickets cost around $200.

It is entertaining soccer, and it is certainly interesting to get a sneak peak at players who could one day playing for TFC, but the price is a bit too much to justify going often.

Anyhow, I watched the first half of the match on Rogers, and it was entertaining. The first goal by TFCA (I think the player's name was Pena) was a beauty.

The pricing issue needs to be addressed. I am going to see if i can get anyone at the CSL to listen to some ideas I've got bouncing around in my head.

the game was excellent last night. i dont know what kind of camera angles Rogers used but the best goal of the game was the 2nd Astros goal off the free kick. #10 Jon Hurtis (from France) bent an absolutely lovely ball around the wall into the top left corner. Pure class....and to think TFC could have signed him to a Dev contract at the open tryouts.

very entertaining game last night. If i could organize a group rate for RPB, how many guys would be interested in watching future TFCA matches at Lamport?

If the CSL had any intelligence at all, our TFC season ticket cards should let us in for $10!
