sorry if it's already been posted...

Former City favourite Paul Dickov has officially re-signed on a 2-year contract.

The feisty Scot, was unveiled at The Walkers Stadium on Thursday and was given the number 27 shirt.

He scored 37 goals in 89 games between 2002 and 2004, with a high being promotion under then City manager Micky Adams.

Last season Dickov went on loan to Blackpool and scored 6 goals in just 7 starts including the winning goal in the dying minutes versus City at Bloomfield Road.

The 35-year old was released by Manchester City this summer and despite holding talks with both Blackpool and Canadian side Toronto FC he decided to re-join the City Faithful.

Fuck Leicester, Dickov is just their over the hill Iain Hume replacement. I'll be surpirsed if they bounce back into the championship

I don't give two shits about Dickov. He's no A. Boner. :D

Anyway I've grown tired of scouting old European retreads that aren't Dichio so this ain't a big loss.

Apparently it's between us and Leeds. He was recently training with them and if what I hear is correct, Leeds would like to sign him.

.... and from his own mouth via TFC-TV: http://torontofc.neulion.com/tfc/console.jsp?catid=2&id=1607

I think Leeds lost interest in him when they found out that the injury to Beckford was going to be short term.
