Going to guess 4-5. These boards are not what they were back then.

Wow. Time are changing though, back then Giovinco coming to MLS was a really, really big deal just behind Beckham.

Insigne is still another evolution for MLS, however we are regularly seeing near his level of caliber joining the league.

Wow...800+ posts

Seba wasn't our first big deal but he felt like our first motivated big deal.

Part of me wonders if winning 2017 & then the flameout afterwards has cut interest a bit.

Loving TFC when they were only ever losers seemed easier somehow.

...so there's some legroom for Insigne's long legs...

They are a fine pair of legs.

'And Now For Something Completely Different'...

Warning, warning!
Discretion advised!
This is an advisory!
What you may see may not be unseen!
You'll forget his legs once you see his toes!

Lorenziello needs 'The Toe Bro'.

< EDIT >
Apologies...
Caption at top right in Italian by Balotelli states... 'Quality hurts!'.
Caption at bottom in Spanish by poster states... 'Balotelli's mockery of Insigne for his toes'.

I hope not - honestly he hasn't done enough in MLS to warrant that without even having played for his MLS club yet.

He technically isn't playing in the all star game, just in the skills competition.

Yeah seems strange. why would he have been in LA? Plus he had dyed his hair in that post we saw yesterday, could have done that after meeting him obviously..
Also two days ago some relatives ran into Lorenzo and talked to him for a few minutes and I believe they said they were in Mississauga at the time. Would have been a quick trip to LA..bizarre but cool that they met

It was at Caribana not LA. There was a lot of social media showing him around T.O last weekend. People just assumed that because "Why would LeBron ever go to Canadur?"

If you follow Criscito or LA (or LA's wife) on Instagram, they've been seeing all the sites in Ontario. They've been to Wonderland, Niagara Falls, Ripleys, CN Tower Restaurant and an indoor trampoline park. Not to mention a lot of Yorkville restaurants. They seem to be having a good time.

Now if Criscito had done this to have Insigne shake Lebron's hand.
That Insta would be priceless.

The Americans can’t handle little old Toronto or Canada beating them, their egos are incredibly fragile when it comes to America vs anything.

Goal of the week tends to be more about weirdness & distance then technical ability.

Seba didn't even win GotW for his goal against NYRB that got us into the playoffs.

Yah probably the best goal in league history and it wasn't nominated. They also had us as low as third in the 'power rankings' that year despite being absolutely dominant.

it's always passive aggressive though, like when they did a piece a few weeks ago noting the two huge DPs coming in... and their belief that of the two insigne would have less impact than hector herrera...

A very, very, very, good goal. Then again, Seba had a few of those.
Seba should have been nominated for that at the very least.
IIRC, it clinched TFC's first playoff birth?
That play, kinda, sorta, reminds me of Michael's recent off the Lorenziello pass? Lol!
Most recently, Alejandro's Panenka is a good one.

First TFC MLS opponent player, of many likely, to do so?

You have your years mixed up jloome. We weren’t ever dominant in 2015, and were the recipient of the sixth spot in the east (it was the year they went from 5 to 6 playoff spots in each conference).

Not taking anything away from Seba's beautiful goal, which was even sweeter because he had been on Italy service and had just stepped off a transatlantic flight the same day

We were not that good that year. Seba dragged us into the playoffs. it was a one man show for sure.

yeah I had that as 2017. I suspect I conflate good TFC stuff into smaller passages of time.

Mavinga is an outgoing guy. Not surprised he'd be the one to make these guys feel comfortable.

I also think Mavinga is easily influenced by those around him, a crowd pleaser of sorts. So I agree hopefully this new relationship helps to elevate his game and commitment
